Old maps of Bury
When I used to work at the council they had about half a dozen maps that you could view on their intranet going back to 1837. Does anyone know whether these can be accessed by Joe Public over the internet?

Try http://visionofbritain.org.uk/maps/ for maps of Britain through Time. These are copies of maps going back to the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey of early 19th century.
