Hello trying to find the East Lancashire Reg/t 1914-1916 or the Lancashire Fusiliers 1914-1916 as i am researching my wifes G/Dad ERNEST ROSTRON JAY Born: 1887 Died: 1970 we beleive he was a Coal-Merchant in BURY, %26 run a Coach Business, if any one has any info, i would be most grateful for any Advise B.Wilton-King

Have you tried the Lancashire Fusiliers Website, click on this link and it should take you to the website,

and leave a message for Joe Eastwood/Geoff Pyecroft with the service Number & Battalion of her Grandfather if you have it. They do have a Brilliant Website which you will find interesting. also if you have any photos of her Grandfather in the Lfs Joe would be gratefull if you could scan them to him.
