Can anyone help us date our house - we have lived here for 16 years and I have tried Bury Libraries and various internet sites - old maps etc but have hit a brick wall - the property appears on the first OS survey maps inc it's outbuildings - there are some marriage records in Prestwich St Margarets archive on the internet that indicate "Hills" as an area in the 1600's but I am not sure if that is our house. If you have any more information it would be appreciated
