The Islands, Elton,Bury

Hi, I'm a new member researching my family history. My great grandfather is shown in the 1841 census aged 1 living at The Islands, Elton Bury. I have not been able to find any information about The Islands. Can anybody help me with any information on this area or any maps which may show its location. Any information or guidance towards suitable reference would be very much appreciated

The Islands on our place names database is near the river Irwell just south of Bury Bridge and west of Millett Street. Long gone of course now, the entry in our place names database is:
