Bury Brewery and Crown Brewing Co. Empty Bury Brewery and Crown Brewing Co.

In the 1950s Bury used to have two breweries in the Rochdale road/Heywood Street areas. Does anyone out there have any stories or anecdotes from when these breweries were open, perhaps because of working there?

Not sure but I have a spirits book form a pub my paretns had from 1952 to 1957 with Rochdale brewery named as there suppplier
